Increase Your Readership by Social Content Linking

Wordpress is an awesome platform, but before ruling every other platform out and say I’m only going to use WordPress I must re-think my approach. Fact is, we can still use a few of the other blogging platforms to help us spread our content on auto-pilot. Here is how:

Use Twitterfeed to connect to your blog. Then, have Twitterfeed also connect to Ping.fm.
On Ping.fm,  sign up for a few social networks. Now, when you update your blog, it will push out to ping.fm, and from there it will update your status (your post link) for all the social media sites you signed up for. (Your post link will be sent to multiple networks)

Blog > Twitterfeed > Ping.fm > All social media sites.

Now, if you want to post actual CONTENT, like full posts on other social media do this:

Sign up for LiveJournal, Multiply, Vox, and Blogger. Get Crosspress plugin and Live+Press plugin.

Use CrossPress to “post by email” to Multiply, Blogger, and Vox. Use Live+Press plugin to syndicate to Livejournal. (Only paid members can “post by email”, so this is a free alternative)

Walaa! You have now spread your content further onto the net. More chances of people coming back to your main site! =)
