How to Pick the Right Network Marketing Program

So, you got pitched to join yet another network marketing program, huh? Or, maybe you’re just not happy with the one you’re in? Picking the right network marketing program isn’t exactly rocket science.

Here are two key components you should consider:

1. Marketability – What kind of products is this potential network marketing program offering? Can you get it in your local supermarkets or other stores? What are the prices of the item? What is the potential compensation for you as the distributor? Does the company have a good reputation?

These are important questions to ask. If your potential prospects feel that the products are typical items you can get anywhere, the harder it will be to compel them into buying your product. You want to pick something that is easily going to motivate people to market. The higher the upfront commissions, the better chance of people being motivated to market it. Would you rather get $10 upfront, or $1000 dollars? Does the company have a lot of complaints against it? If so, this could make things harder for you due to more skeptical prospects. In choosing the right, you have to consider these questions.

2. Lead Generation System - Does the network marketing program offer good lead generation training? Are they up to date with the most effective methods to getting people to sign up? Typically, companies promote home parties,calling family and friends, public prospecting  and cold calling leads. This, as I have found it to be, is certainly not the easiest way to prospect. After spending at least $12,000 on ‘old-school’ methods of prospecting I realized that it requires a significant amount of patience, as well as money. Most people have to be consistent for my years before they start making any significant profits.

But then, I discovered the Internet. The Internet is an extremely powerful way to prospect, or might I say, have SYSTEMS prospect for you. It requires a whole lot less effort, and is extremely easy to leverage. Network marketing programs typically won’t teach this kind of knowledge, but I will.
