Ahh, July 4th. A day to sit back and watch stuff(fireworks) blow up. BTW, If you’re not American, tomorrow is the official “Day Of Independence” for us here in the states.
Last year, right around this time, I remember practically pulling out my hair (and I’ve got the receding hairline to prove it), struggling to make a dime in my home-based business.
My home-based business plan at that point consisted of basically handing out fliers to on-goers in malls, and calling leads that I purchased from lead companies. Heck, I even dialed peoples phone numbers out of the phone book!
I was desperate.
My fiancé would ask me from time to time, “So, are people signing up yet?” Embarrassed as I was, I always had the same answer for her.
What could I do? My home-based business plan sucked. I mean, its not like my sponsor was teaching me anything other than approaching people in supermarkets.
I was in need of serious help.
Lets forward to the present now. I’ve got at least 20-30 people becoming MY leads now, not some stupid lead companies’.
I’ve got a marketing ’system’ of my own that is constantly grinding out highly responsive prospects every.. single.. day.
Wow, what the heck happened? Well, I invested in myself, I invested in my knowledge. I learned a few simple key things that I implement every single day. It’s that simple.

My plans for July 4th? Ah, I’m gonna just go meet some family and hopefully make to Battery Park here in NYC to see a fire-works show right over the Hudson River.
